The history and key distinctions between ETLF's and Landfill Fires. The presentation will cover the conditions that lead to ETLF's and the sequence of events that follow. It will cover the warning signs and what to be aware of when these conditions present themselves. We will then cover the methods to manage this condition when these become out of hand. Following that it will cover 3 case studies. Rumpke Landfill, Bridgeton Landfill and Chiquita Canyon Landfill and how they each became ETLF's.

    Greg Anderson, Senior Technical Sales Executive

    Over 25 years of experience dealing with engineers and specifications related to municipal water/wastewater and landfill applications and projects. Initialed the effort through the Geosynthetics Research Institute to establish GRI GM44 specifications for the use of Very Low Permeance Geomembrane Barrier. This product has been used in projects such as Rumpke Landfill in OH, Bridgeton Landfill in Missouri and currently being implemented at Chiquita Landfill in CA.

    Alex Nichols, Regional Sales Lead

    Has been in the Geosynthetics industry for 18 years. He began his career as a welding technician for Colorado Lining and progressed to Fabrication Plant Manager and Estimating. Alex has been in sales for over 10 years and in his current role as Regional Sales Lead. He is well known in the Geomembrane Industry as a reliable and knowledgeable resource.
