Jasmine Cox

Director of Textile Technology Programs and Business Innovation, Textile Technology Center at Gaston College

Prior to her role as Director of Textile Technology Programs, Jasmine has served in various roles including: Physical Testing Laboratory Technician, Special Projects Coordinator and Process Coordinator. Textiles is truly in Jasmine’s blood. Her Eastern North Carolina family lineage traces back to the card rooms of the old Fieldcrest Textile Mill. Jasmine’s passion includes working tirelessly to help rebuild the talent pipeline in the textile industry by assisting with training, recruitment and overall development for young textile professionals. Originally, from Raleigh, NC Jasmine obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Textile Technology from the NC State Wilson College of Textiles. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies in Textile Technology Management at the NC State Wilson College of Textiles.

Nichole Holroyd

COO, Spiritus Systems

Nichole Holroyd is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Spiritus Systems. Spiritus Systems is a tactical gear cut-and-sew manufacturer and brand creating the highest quality equipment for military, law enforcement, and civilian use. Nichole, her husband, and best friend started the company in their home and have grown it into one of the leading brands in the tactical gear market. In a former life, Nichole was a Medical Laboratory Scientist, MLS (ASCP)CM and received her Master of Public Health (MPH) with a focus on infectious disease and epidemiology.
