IFAI Expo Nov. 3–6, 2020 in Indianapolis, Ind., will mark the event’s 100th anniversary. ATA has announced that it is moving forward as planned, and registration is now open. Safety protocols are in place and will be coordinated with host hotels and the Indiana Convention Center (ICC).
The registration area at IFAI Expo will be set up to provide an appropriate amount of space for attendees to maintain a healthy social distance and with enough staff to keep the lines moving quickly. All common spaces used by IFAI Expo will be under enhanced cleaning protocols. This includes, but is not limited to, cleaning areas such as the registration desk, and education rooms as well as continuous sterilization of high-touch surfaces such as door handles, elevator buttons and handrails.
ATA has worked closely with the ICC to adjust plans, according to the health department’s recommended maximum capacity per room and area based on venue square footage, to ensure attendees have an appropriate amount of space. With the help of the ICC, IFAI Expo attendees can expect to see safety measures, such as additional hand-sanitizing stations, touchless bathroom fixtures, onsite medical facilities, and immediate response protocols in place to plan for a safe IFAI Expo.
In addition to a packed show floor, there will be 50+ hours of education, multiple networking events, the Advanced Textiles Conference, expert industry speakers and special recognition of 100-year-old companies.
Reservations for hotel rooms can now be made through IFAI Expo’s official housing company ConferenceDirect. This guarantees guests the lowest rates. IFAI Expo 2020 also has a discount program in place with Delta Airlines. Depending on your booking class, you will be eligible to save up to 10 percent on your flight when booking through Delta.
