Safety Components Fabric Technologies of Greenville, S.C., has produced guidelines for use with different methods and manufacturers’ equipment when bonding its durable, breathable and color-fast WeatherMAX fabric.

It can be welded using a wide variety of hot air, heat, glue or ultrasonic equipment. Safety Components recommends making sample welds to achieve the correct settings for heat, speed and wedge alignment.

Manufactured for extreme outdoor conditions from 100 percent pigment solution-dyed SaturaMax™, and finished with breathable HydroMax™, WeatherMAX comes in three varieties: WeatherMAX LT, WeatherMAX 80 and WeatherMAX FR.
