It was important that the sales center for a new condo project looked and felt perfectly at home in its art and entertainment district. Designer Union 31, Toronto, Ont., Canada, sought inspiration from several Picasso sketches for the center’s exterior façade. Eventscape Inc., Toronto, fabricated and installed the dramatic environment. Its free-flowing ribbon is reminiscent of a sinuous crimson brush stroke looping through and wrapping the sales center. The designer requested a flare at the end of several ribbons to resemble the end of a brush stroke. Red mannequins were integrated into the overall design.
