BASF transfers textile chemical business to Archroma

BASF, a Singapore-based global chemical company with sales of 74 billion euros in 2014, has divested its global textile chemical business to Archroma, a Swiss specialty chemical supplier to the textile, paper and emulsion industries.

BASF will continue to manufacture and supply textile chemical products to Archroma. The transaction includes BASF Pakistan Ltd., Karachi, but all remaining BASF businesses in Pakistan remain part of the family.
