Teijinconex® neo will meet comfort and maneuverability demands for protective apparel.

Teijin Limited, Tokyo, Japan, has announced the upcoming launch of Teijinconex neo, its newest type of meta-aramid fiber. Production is scheduled to start in mid-2015, nearly doubling the annual capacity of Teijin’s global meta-aramid fiber production.

A unique production process will allow Teijinconex neo to achieve unsurpassed heat resistance and high quality dyeability. The new production technologies also ensure compliance with environmental regulations, such as REACH, directly out of the factory.

The fiber will meet the strong demand in the markets of Japan, North America and Europe for protective clothing solutions that combine comfort, maneuverability and high protection property. It was introduced at Intersec, the global security and safety exhibition taking place at the Dubai World Trade Center through Jan. 20.
