Gerber Technology, Tolland, Conn., has named Karsten Newbury vice president and general manager of software solutions. Prior to joining Gerber, Newbury was senior vice president and general manager for Siemens PLM Software’s mainstream engineering business and led the company’s global go-to-market and software development efforts. Gerber is a world leader in integrated solutions for the apparel and industrial markets.
