Mary K. Wagner has joined Maine-based Auburn Manufacturing (AMI) as technical and product development manager, to oversee and direct all technical aspects of the company’s products, with a heavy concentration on innovation in new product development. Wagner has a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Maine, and has recently held positions with Great Northern Paper and Verso Paper. “Mary’s extensive technical background in the paper industry will be extremely useful in improving our textile-making processes, especially coating and finishing,” said Kathie Leonard, Auburn’s president and CEO. AMI is an industry leader in producing fire- and heat-resistant textiles.
