Base Structures, a U.K.-based specialist in design, manufacture and installation of technically challenging tensile-fabric structures, has developed a strategic partnership with Remaster BR, a specialist sub-contractor with locations in Brazil and Colombia. Remaster will act as the “face” of the British firm, while Base will provide technical expertise, specialist training and manufacturing of lightweight, architectural fabric and mesh canopies, façade cladding, walkways, shelters, shades, covered atriums and artistic installations. Sports, leisure and temporary venues and shelters should be in high demand as Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, gears up to host the 2016 Summer Olympics Games.
