PurThread™ fibers are integrated with an antimicrobial agent when the polymer is molten, providing an even distribution as opposed to a topical coating or coated standard fiber. The result is a flexible fiber that can be blended into multiple yarn combinations and is easily dyed. The antimicrobial agent is non-leaching and retains its efficacy through launderings and wear.
