Teijin’s polyester now used in ANA’s bedding

Published On: September 5, 2013

The Teijin Group’s high-performance polyester materials, including Nanofront high-strength ultra-fine nanofiber, are now used in All Nippon Airways’ (ANA) first- and business-class comforters and pillows. Passengers flying between Japan and either Europe or the U.S. will enjoy the comfort of these bedding items.

Teijin’s Nanofront polyester nanofiber measures just 700 nanometers in thickness. The bedding was co-developed by Teijin Frontier Co., Ltd., the Teijin Group’s fiber-product converting company, Texet Ltd., a group company engaged in the design and sales of interior and bedding products, and Nishikawa Sangyo.
