Eastman offers a streamlined process for importing AutoCAD based files, like .dxf files, directly into patternPRO’s MARKER module for nesting. It is simple and easy to save for the Eastman automatic cutting system operating control software called EasiCut. This video demonstrates a 150″ marker.

Eastman’s LeatherPRO offers digital defect marking and allows up to two operators to simultaneously mark imperfections on the hide.  This innovation allows the marking of defects on an entire hide in approximately 2.5 minutes. The LeatherPRO system was engineered to handle up to 6 different defect types and 6 different pattern quality zone types, so even the most demanding quality standards can be maintained.  Defects are marked with projected virtual lines using a light pen, therefore eliminating messy chalk and tape residue on the material.  Increased yields are accomplished through a digital hide database, advanced sorting algorithms and the ability to nest for long periods of time. Nesting may be accomplished offline or at the cutting system.
