Hurricane Ian relief funds available for marine businesses

Following the devastation of Hurricane Ian, the marine industry has offered its support to those affected across Florida to help the community return to some sense of normalcy. As part of these efforts, Old Salt Fishing Foundation, Marine Industries Association and Annapolis Boat Shows “Hands Across the Transom Hurricane Relief Fund” have come together to create the Hurricane Ian Marine Industry Relief Fund. The group is collecting funds to help individuals working in the marine trades recover from the ravages of Hurricane Ian.

The fund has surpassed $60,000 in donations and applications for funding are now available. Minimum payments of $500 will be made to individuals approved by the committee. Online applications may be accessed here.
