EDANA launches nonwovens training program

Published On: September 29, 2015

EDANA, the international association for the nonwovens and related industries, has renewed its training course program with “Nonwovens Learning Cycle™,” an integrated approach to nonwovens from the basics to advanced courses and guided development.

Developed in partnership with the European Centre for Innovative Textiles (CETI), the courses are delivered in four stages: an introduction to the world of nonwovens, with a virtual classroom experience covering manufacturing technologies, materials and applications; an intermediate course that covers in-depth information in three days, including the full range of manufacturing technologies and raw materials; an advanced course for participants who have attended the intermediate course, with a focus on understanding the various production parameters in nonwovens manufacturing and how they can be used to modify product properties; and guided development, which focuses on innovation and product development.
