Derek Spingler has been named vice president of North America for Sympatex Technologies, Unterfohring, Germany, a producer of membranes, laminates and functional textiles.

Spingler brings more than 20 years of experiences in the outdoor industry to his new role, where he is responsible for overall sales and marketing management with a special focus on creating and expanding existing and new business relations in apparel, footwear and contract and workwear.
