Texart™ RT-640 improves sublimation transfer output, minimizes running costs.

The Texart RT-640, a 64-inch dye-sublimation printer from Roland DGA Corp., Irvine, Calif., features new print control technology, ErgoSoft Roland Edition RIP software and a choice of four- or eight-color ink configurations.

Its gold-plated, anti-static print head is capable of printing seven droplet sizes for smooth gradations and denser color. The newly-designed feed adjuster ensures added stability for high-speed printing up to 351 square feet per hour.

The printer is equipped with a bulk ink system that uses airtight-sealed pouches of one liter each. Using the Roland Ink Switching System™, users can load a fresh pouch without stopping the printer. In four-color CMYK mode, this system provides two liters per color and automatically switches to a backup ink pouch when the primary pouch runs out.
