Fabric Graphics Workshop update

Published On: June 29, 2012

Mimaki representative Paul McGovern and the Fabric Graphics Task Force of ATA have rescheduled the Fabric Graphics Workshop due to scheduling conflicts as a result of the later-than-planned arrival of the new textile printing machine and a low ratio of attendees to vendors. The workshop has been rescheduled for September 18, 2012 at Mimaki World Headquarters in Atlanta. All registered attendees were notified and agreed the new date will work.

Suppliers, however, remained very interested in an open format workshop for graphic testing. As a result, July 17 is now scheduled as a “testing” print workshop for suppliers. Various print methods and inks will be made available for specific fabrics and their end-product applications. Herculite, Verseidag, 3P, Aurora, Fisher, Klieverik, Graniteville, Safety Components and Glen Raven are confirmed for testing. Several new techniques will be tested for market applications and discussion at the later workshop.
