Fisher Textiles, a supplier of fabrics for digital printing, will feature new fabrics and print demonstrations at the International Sign Expo in Orlando, Fla. March 22–24.

The company will have an HP LX850 Latex printer within the booth running print demonstrations on Fisher’s fabric.

Fisher will be collecting PET bottles in a recycling bin with the help of Unifi, the makers of Repreve, which supplies recycled yarns for Fisher’s Enviro-Tex green fabric line. Repreve is made through a proprietary process using post-industrial and post-consumer waste.

The booth will house a six-foot tall light box showcasing style GF 8682 Twilite, Fisher’s newest backlit fabric for dye sub and UV printing that can be used in applications such as banners and trade show exhibits. Twilite is 7.8 oz/yd2, 122 inches wide, is FR and passes NFPA 701.

The company will have on hand its other newest fabrics for digital printing including: GF 6640 Poly Canvas, 8.4 oz/yd2, 121 inches, the improved version of GF 6640 Poly Linen for dye sub and UV printing. The new version is whiter than the original and passes NFPA 701. It has a soft cotton, linen-like feel and can be used for home furnishing, banner and table cover applications. 1010 Element, 8.5 oz/yd2, 60 inches, is Fisher’s newest awning fabric for dye sub and UV printing. It can also be used for street pole banners and patio furniture, as it produced excellent results when tested under AATCC test methods for water repellency.
