Olympus Group, a Milwaukee-based custom graphic manufacturer, has announced the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Orlando, Fla. The new facility will feature a state-of-the-art 10-foot wide digital UV press, computerized cutter/router, lamination and other finishing equipment that allows Olympus to produce banners, backdrops, rigid signage, event graphics and vehicle graphics. The company has invested more than $500,000 in new equipment and technology to support the opening of the new facility, and intends to hire 25 employees over the next three years to support the operation and service this growing market.

According to Hayes Holzhauer, general manager, “Florida represents about 25 percent of our current business, and to help us better service our key customers we needed to have a local presence. This facility will allow us to reduce logistical costs and provide faster turn times to Florida, while being supported by our headquarters in Milwaukee, one of the largest digital printers in the United States.”
