IFF announces 2011 Innovation Award deadline: July 15

Published On: April 18, 2011

The purpose of the IFF Innovation Award is to inspire companies from all over the world to not only come up with great ideas, but make them happen. According to Beth Hungiville, Industrial Fabrics Foundation (IFF) managing director, “We want to tell the stories of great specialty fabric manufacturers and suppliers who have challenged the normal and succeeded, and who are leading the way to uncharted territories. We want these companies and their stories to inspire others in the industry and to act as benchmarks for the chosen few to surpass.”

The categories for the award are: fabric, hardware or machinery, end product and process. Entries will be judged by textile professors and industry colleagues. Deadline to submit an entry is July 15, 2011. The winners will be announced at IFAI Expo Americas 2011, October 25-27 in Baltimore, Md., and will be featured in the Specialty Fabrics Review.

The IFF is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to education and research in specialty fabrics. For more information, please contact Beth Hungiville, IFF managing director, at +1 651 225 6545, blhungiville@ifai.com.
