Glen Raven will showcase an expanded line of Firesist™ flame retardant awning fabrics during IFAI Expo in Orlando. With one new solid color and three new stripes, Firesist is evolving to meet the changing needs of awning fabricators nationwide.

Terracotta is the new solid color added to the Firesist line, drawing its inspiration from the Southwestern U.S. region. The three new stripes incorporate bright primary colors of Crimson, Forest Green and Sunburst Yellow, set off by bright whites. The addition of the new colors and stripes is in direct response to customer feedback received following last year’s re-introduction of the Firesist line.

In 2009, Glen Raven re-engineered Firesist fabrics with new technologies, including solution-dyed fibers, enhanced UV resistance and improvements in finishing that enhance water repellency. The result is a fabric with excellent tear strength and flame retardant qualities that is easier to handle with less weight for large canopies.

Firesist fabrics carry a five-year limited warranty and are available through the family of Glen Raven Firesist distributors.
