Ultra-high-tenacity nylon
United Yarn Products Co. Inc. will now manufacture and distribute an ultra-high-tenacity Type 6 nylon from a specialty producer in Europe, recommended for applications such as rope, cordage, industrial strapping and marine moorings. New Super 6 Nylon™ is available in 840, 1260, 1680 and 1890 deniers in natural, black, and ten solution-dyed colors. It’s compacted and may not need additional twisting for woven and warp-knit fabric production; the yarn is also available plied and airjet textured.
